How to Add a Bot or Live Chat to Your Wordpress Website

Through Bot Libre, you can now add a bot or live chat widget to your Wordpress website. A chatbot allows you to provide automated chat or customer service to your website. You can also connect to your live chat channel as an operator and respond to your user live on your website. Bot Libre also allows an automated bot agent to be connected to your live chat channel to respond to your users when you are unavailable.

New Chat Styles in Bot Libre 6

Bot Libre supports several different types of button styles and chat styles for embedding to enhance user experience. Button styles let users choose the a specific style of button for the embedding. Chat Styles lets you choose the chat style of the bot. Different chat styles provide different shapes and looks of chat log and chat text bubbles.

Live video and audio chat, video broadcast, video conferencing, video chat with your bot

BOT libre now supports live video and audio chat in our embeddable chat rooms and live chat channels. You can use our live chat for video broadcasts, or video conferencing, or you can even video chat with your bot by adding it to your chat room.

The video support is still experimental, and there are know issues that your media feed can got lost if you rejoin channels. Please log any issues you encounter in our Bugs and Features forum.
